Entertainment District

RESO • Underground City

The Montreal underground pedestrian network covers 30 km of tunnels underground.

The tunnels connect offices, residential complexes, shopping centres, universities, hotels, metro stations and more.

Chinatown

Its narrow streets are lined with shops selling exotic foods, traditional crafts, martial-arts accessories, herbs and natural medicines. Acupuncture and Asian medical services can also be found here.

La Ronde

Do you enjoy thrills? Take a tour at La Ronde, a US Six Flags’ amusement park that is also the largest in Quebec, boasting over 40 rides and attractions.

Old Port

The Old Port of Montreal is one of the most historical sites in Montreal. (Source: Wikipedia) On the edge of the St. Lawrence River, this area is filled with dozens of attractions for the millions of annual visitors.

It boasts historical monuments, cruises, excursions, gourmet restaurants, terraces, shops, a science centre to pique your interest, museums and the Cirque du Soleil Kyrios.

Palais des congrès

The Montreal Convention Centre is a convention centre located in Montréal’s international quarter at the north end of Old Montreal. It branches out into Ville-Marie’s underground life.

The Centre constitutes a landmark attraction. It connects to the Place-d’Armes metro station.

Mount-Royal

On top of the mountain you will find Mount Royal Park and its famous Beaver Lake. In winter you can skate on the lake and in summer you can picnic (BBQ accepted) while playing your favourite sports.

Outside the park, the mountain hosts on its slopes important institutions, such as St Joseph’s Oratory, the largest church in Canada, among many other attractions.

Downtown of Montreal

The cultural and business centre of Montreal is bounded by Sherbrooke Street to the north, St-Hubert Street to the east, Guy Street and Shaughnessy Village to the west, and Highway 720 to the south.

Biodôme

Over 4,500 animals of 250 different species and 500 plant species located in the old Montreal Velodrome, which was built for the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. Discover the ecosystems of the Americas under the same roof.

Montreal’s Casino

Located on Île Notre-Dame, the Casino is recognized for the quality of its play areas, its architecture and its prestige.

You can also eat at one of the five restaurants in the casino or just have a drink in one of its four bars.
